Additional information / Pre-requisites
The interdisciplinary lectures take place in a blended learning concept, i.e. cases are worked on online and supplemented by attendance appointments. This is a mandatory course with attendance monitoring; active participation is required on 85% of the course dates.
The interdisciplinary lectures for poultry diseases are only taught on site in the lecture hall!
Comments
In the interdisciplinary lectures, practically relevant content is presented in a case-based and interdisciplinary manner. The aim is to create a link between different topics and the material already learned. In the 8th semester, content on the topics of outbreaks of zoonotics, equine medicine and ophthalmology is taught on a case-based basis throught various institutes.
The course also includes the interdisciplinary lectures of poultry diseases on Monday, 10:00-10:45 am in the lecture hall Clinic for Horses (Oertzenweg 19B), which takes place only on-site! Students will learn contents about poultry medicine in an interdisciplinary and interactive manner. Students will learn a holistic approach about current poultry topics.
