Comments

This course is an introduction to philosophical ethics. We will study in depth three classic works that defined the discipline: John Stuart Mill‘s Utilitarianism, Aristotle‘s Nicomachean Ethics, and Kant‘s Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals. We will also read modern works that expand on, employ, or criticize these classics.
