In 2017, the regional DAAD lecturers' meeting for China (including Hongkong and Taiwan) and Mongolia took place at Peking University. From November 24 until 29, a rich program consisting of talks and other informative sessions was offered to the participants. The ZDS members Prof. Dr. HUANG Liaoyu and Prof. Dr. LIAN Yu-ru contributed to the program with their talks about the German communist Otto Braun and his role during the Chinese revolution and about the 'natural partnership' between China and Germany.
