Neon Wood is a successful brand for student living in Berlin.
In its modern residences they offer fully furnished apartments with a private kitchen & bathroom. The rent already includes high-speed internet, advance payment for electricity and utilities as well as access to all community areas. These include the 24/7 Laundrette, Lobby, Study Areas, Gym, TV-Area as well as Gaming Room with game consoles and free games.


International exchange and program students of Freie Universität Berlin and enrolled international PhD students.


Neon Wood offers apartments in two different locations in Berlin. The following options are available:

Rental Conditions


To make a reservation for accommodation in Neon Wood please email us at accommodation@fu-berlin.de

Please attach the following documents:

  •         a copy of your valid identity card / passport
  •         your acceptance letter to Freie Universität Berlin

Once we have verified your eligibility, you will receive an email from us with all the information you need to register.

The agreement between ERG Universitätsservice GmbH and Neon Wood entails reserving a certain number of Classic apartments (rental period 6 months) for FU exchange, program and enrolled international PhD students.Any further communication regarding application procedures and rental conditions take place between you and Neon Wood.

Neon Wood will charge a deposit of one to three months net cold rent and a one-time service fee of 200 EUR.

Rental Period:

The minimum rental period is six months.

An early termination of the lease is only possible for a very important reason. It is possible to move in during March or April. Please schedule your starting date of the contract with Neon Wood.

Extension of the Rental Contract:

In order to request an extension or renewal of your rental contract please contact Neon Wood directly. Depending on availability this might be possible.
