During the academic break, the University Library — including the Central Library, the subject libraries, and the University Archives — also takes a short holiday pause. Here are our closing times around the turn of the year:

All locations will be closed from Saturday, December 20, 2025, through Sunday, January 4, 2026.

During this period, borrowing items on-site will not be possible, and study spaces in the reading rooms will also be unavailable. Our digital services and e-resources will, of course, remain accessible as usual.

During closing times, the book drops at the main entrance of the Central Library (Garystr. 39) are open for returns. The items will be reversed on the next opening day.
