Berliner Wasserbetriebe

Today the highly-developed Berliner Wasserbetriebe provides 3.7 million people in Berlin and Brandenburg with drinking water. Alongside the supply of water, it is also responsible for the ecological disposal and treatment of wastewater. The Wasserbetriebe take responsibility for sustainable urban development and its ecological, economic and sustainable management.

Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe (BSR)

Berlin's city cleaning company "Berliner Stadtreinigungsbetriebe" (BSR) offers a diverse array of educational workshops about environmental topics. They believe that children as tomorrow's adults should actively co-create their environment and their city. BSR's workshops inspire interest and motivation to learn more about environmental issues. They have a special program to teach children with migration background in easy German.

GASAG Berliner Gaswerke Aktiengesellschaft

GASAG and the Senate of Berlin agreed to cooperate with schools and academia in their fourth "climate protection contract". This includes GASAG's self-imposed responsibility to support Berlin with its climate-related goals to reduce CO2 emissions by 2 million tons compared to 1998. So far, activities of GASAG have saved more than 1 million tons of CO2 emissions since 1998.
