Direct Access to the E-Book Collections

Freie Universität's licensed e-books (a collection of about 600,000) and free e-books can be found in the Primo search space. Book chapters can also be found for some of the book inventory, if there is corresponding metadata in the Primo mega index.

Freie Universität's licensed e-books or and its printed books collection can be found in the FU collections search space. Book chapters or articles are not listed here.

Downloading E-Books

FU Berlin members as well as authorized users are permitted to perform research for personal use only and to copy a selection of the researched data (e.g. bibliographical data records including abstracts, journal articles, complete texts or excerpts) into the main memory of the computer (Terms of use for e-resources).

The download and print options vary depending on the provider.
