About FUBiS

Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) is an intensive, academic program of Freie Universität Berlin, which sessions run for 3 to 6 weeks and take place both in summer and winter. FUBiS offers subject classes on various class topics and offers intensive and semi-intensive German language classes at up to five different proficiency levels. Most subject classes are held in English or Spanish by distinguished German and international faculty. For completing language courses or subject classes students can earn credits that may be counted towards their degrees at their home institutions.

Registration and Discount

Registration for the first term of FUBiS (5 - 23 January 2026) is now possible.

Application deadline is 24 November 2025.

Early bird registration until 10 November 2025 will result in a reduction of € 50.
