The Center for Area Studies (CAS) organizes events on current topics and research results in cooperation with regional institutes and with the involvement of international renowned researchers.

With different kinds of events, CAS helps to link activities in the separate Area Studies at Freie Universität and to create internal and external synergetic effects.
