The Campus Library structurally consists of two parts. As you enter the Library by the main entrance on hallway L (L-Straße), the older part of the building is to your left, the new part to your right.
The arrangement of materials in alphabetical order of shelf numbers begins with AA on level 0 of the older part of the building, progresses up through the levels and reaches DZ shelf numbers on level 6. The continuation sets out on the top level in the new part of the building with E and extends down to Z on the bottom level.
You will find the Korea and Japan sections on the top level and the China section on the bottom level – all in the new part of the building. Materials in these sections are labeled with special location marks ("Lokalkennzeichen").
The Textbook Collection is to be found on the bottom level of the new part of the building.
You can access the open stacks from level 0 of the older part of the building. This is where the psychology and education journals are shelved, as well as materials labeled HSS M, LBM and Folio M.
