The parent-child room on level 4 of the old building makes it easier to work with children. It is cosily furnished and has some toys and picture books. This room is only accessible to users with children.

A nappy-changing room is located in the neighbouring sanitary area on the same level.

This room can be booked online. The key for the room must be collected from the lending desk before use. If you have any questions about using and reserving this room, please contact the information desk.

To book the parent-child room

Prerequisites

• Registration in the booking system takes place via the ZEDAT account. Non-FU members log in with their library account. Your personal details are only visible to you and the room administrators.

• Reservations are possible up to 1 week in advance as well as for the current day.

• The reservation/assignment is possible for 4 hours per day, for a maximum of 5 days per week to users who want to work or study with children in the library. An extension beyond this on the same day is possible, provided the room has not already been booked elsewhere.

• A reservation expires if it has not been used within 30 minutes of the start of the reservation.

This is how it works ...

1. Select the desired day.

2. Click on the line with your desired start time.
3. Fill in the form with: Short title and name (please note: there must be at least one person with a child in the Campus Library, otherwise you will not be entitled to the room).
4. Specify the start and end time of your booking.
5. You can change or cancel your booking at any time.
6. You will receive a confirmation email from the room booking system.

The library is closed on public holidays in Berlin.
