The DAAD has once again announced the PPP programs. These promote project-related mobility. Different conditions apply depending on the cooperation partner. The following programs have been announced for Latin America:

• Probral (in cooperation with CAPES, valid for Brazil): Deadline until 20.05.2024
• Propasp (in cooperation with FAPESP, valid for the state of São Paulo): Deadline until 20.05.2024
• Propar (in cooperation with Fundação Araucária, valid for the state of Paraná): Deadline until 20.05.2024
• Procol (in cooperation with Minciencias, valid for Colombia): Deadline until 06.06.2024

Aim of the program
The focus is on initiating or intensifying binational partnership research activities between a German and a foreign university or research institution to strengthen scientific relations. Particular emphasis is placed on the qualification of young academics.

What is funded?
The program promotes mobility and short-term stays for the exchange of project participants from the participating partner institutions, in particular young researchers, for research activities in all disciplines (exceptions see "Country-specific conditions").

Wer wird gefördert?
Gefördert werden Graduierte (Masteranden und Master), Doktoranden, Promovierte, Habilitierte, Hochschullehrende, wenn nicht mit dem ausländischen Partner anders vereinbart, s. „Länderspezifische Bedingungen“.

Wer kann einen Antrag stellen?
Anträge können staatliche und staatlich anerkannte deutsche Hochschulen und gemeinnützig anerkannte und/oder selbstforschende außeruniversitäre Forschungseinrichtungen mit Sitz in Deutschland einreichen.
