CAPES announces new Postdoc Program PIPD

The Institutional Postdoctoral Program aims to promote high-level studies of excellence, strengthen national research groups and promote the inclusion of researchers in postdoctoral internships, encouraging their integration with research projects developed by postgraduate programs in the country. In addition, the PIPD seeks to promote the improvement of doctors through teaching and research and the internationalization of postgraduate programs by encouraging post-doctoral internships abroad.
Types and benefits
Support for teaching and research institutions will be made operational through the payment of monthly stipends to researchers on post-doctoral internships in post-graduate programs. Scholarship holders of the Institutional Postdoctoral Program (PIPD) may undertake postdoctoral internships abroad, in accordance with the provisions established by CAPES' International Relations Directorate. These stays can be up to three years long.
Eligibility
One (1) post-doctoral scholarship will be awarded to each PPG evaluated by CAPES with the following characteristics:
I - grades 6 or 7 throughout the national territory;
II - grade 5 located in the Northern region;
III - grade 5 located in municipalities with a Municipal Human Development Index - MHDI of less than 0.750, in the Northeast, Midwest, South and Southeast regions.
