Prof. Dr. Marcelo Calderón presents FU Berlin on the Science Lunch of the IUPAC congress in São Paulo

During the 9th and 14th of July 2017, the 46th World Chemistry Congress of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) took place in São Paulo.
Within the framework of this event, the DFG organized a “Research in Germany“-Science Lunch to inform interested scientists in the area of chemistry about research and financial support opportunities in Germany.
Besides representatives of the DFG, DAAD and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, scientists from German universities were present and reported on their research.
The Freie Universität Berlin was represented by the Argentinean researcher and junior professor Dr. Marcelo Calderón. He works at the Institute for Chemistry and Biochemistry and during his speech highlighted his work group at the Freie Universität Berlin as well as his personal career.
The Science Lunch gave the about 130 present people the opportunity to talk personally to the scientists and the funding organizations and to be consulted by them individually.
