Academics in Solidarity (AiS) and the University of Cologne are planning a Write-up Workshop for DFG Individual Research Grants – Temporary Positions for Principal Investigators (DFG Sachbeihilfe – Eigene Stelle) to be held in Cologne on 19-20 March 2020. The workshop will provide hands-on writing skills and an opportunity for collaborative exchange with other scholars and mentors with the purpose to finalize own application for the DFG Individual Research Grant. Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed by AiS for selected participants.

We encourage interested scholars to apply for participation by sending their draft project proposals (see details below) and full academic CVs (in pdf) to ais@fu-berlin.de by 24 January 2020.

The draft proposals to be submitted must include a 150 word abstract of the research project, 500 word state of the art, 800 word project description incl. research question(s), the theoretical approach, research methodology and expected findings, as well as a provisional timetable of the project.

Attention: The workshop will be open only to researchers at postdoctoral level who have already decided to apply for the DFG Temporary Positions for Principal Investigators (Eigene Stelle) and are close to finalizing their draft proposals!

Selected participants will be notified by 12 February and would need to confirm their participation by 20 February 2020. The workshop has a capacity of 12 participants.
