The Inspireurope project will host an information session for higher education institutions and other employers across Europe on supporting scholars from Afghanistan. This information session gathers experts from organisations providing direct support to at-risk researchers & scholars to provide updated information on requests our organisations are receiving from Afghanistan, and information on how institutions in Europe can assist. Speakers include representatives from the Scholars at Risk Network, the Scholar Rescue Fund, the PAUSE programme in France, and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation's Philipp Schwartz Initiative in Germany. 

The event will also serve as the launch of the report Researchers at Risk: National-level actions in Europe, a report of the Inspireurope project.

The information session will take place on Thursday, 30 September 2021 - 14:00 to 16:00.
