AiS-FU Information Session: "How to apply for DFG-Funding"

The information session takes place on 23 February 2023, from 2 to 4 pm CET.

Would you like to know more about the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, the largest research funding agency in Germany, and its funding schemes? Do you consider applying for a DFG individual research grant and want to know details about the application structure, the application procedure and the review process? Then we cordially invite you to an information session about the DFG organized in cooperation with the team Research Funding and Information at Freie Universität Berlin.

The goal of this information session is to provide a short overview of the funding landscape in Germany with a focus on the DFG and its individual research grant schemes, including an own position for postdoctoral researchers. The speakers, Victoria Abakumovskikh and Susanne Leder two research managers at Freie Universität Berlin, will pay particular attention to the proposal structure, the budget calculation, the evaluation process and also give you some general advice on a successful proposal writing.

Where? Online, via Webex, a link will be provided some days bevor the event.

Victoria Abakumovskikh and Dr. Susanne Leder have years of experience in consulting in the area of research funding at Freie Universität Berlin.
