The MENASP Network, based at the University of Bath, is pleased to announce that the new MENASP-CP GCRF Research Fund is open for applications from Tuesday 28th September. Funded by the AHRC-GCRF Network Plus Scheme under the management of the Network’s MENASP-CP Programme, the aim of the call is to advance scholarship and practice in security, social equality and social protection in the MENA region.

They welcome applications for either:

• Research Projects between £10,000 - £50,000 from 6 - 12 months
• Applied Intervention and Knowledge Exchange (AIKE) Projects between £5,000 - £15,000 from 3 - 6 months.

The two calls encourage collaborations between the UK and overseas researchers and/or practitioners focused on the MENA region and we especially welcome applications from early-career researchers. The focus countries include Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.

Applications close on Tuesday 23rd November at 23:59 GMT.
