Volkswagen Stiftung has awarded Academy in Exile a new grant. Afghan scholars, cultural producers, and journalists can apply for two-year fellowships to continue their work in Germany. For the first time, the Academy's offerings will be extended to artists and journalists as well.
Women will be particularly encouraged to apply.
