The German Jordanian University and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences offer the first online Basic Course in University Teaching starting January 10, 2022, followed by an Advanced Course which is scheduled for the summer of 2022. The course language is English. The participation is free of charge.

The Basic Course runs for 18 weeks and concludes with a course certificate.

The joint project “German Jordanian Applied University Teaching” (AUT) offers module-based online trainings and gives existing and aspiring university teachers from Syria, Lebanon and Jordan the chance to improve their teaching skills and focus on their professional development. It also aims at establishing effective transnational work groups (teaching circles) that may foster future research and teaching collaborations.
