Survey of Students in Bachelor’s Degree Programs

Evaluation of study conditions in the bachelor’s degree programs has been a regular element of the quality management activities at Freie Universität since 2006.

The goal of collecting student evaluations of various aspects of the studies offered and study conditions is to help identify existing weak points and identify actions to take to improve the programs. The survey also collects information on students’ individual preconditions and life circumstances in order to check whether the studies offered adequately accommodate the diversity of the student body at Freie Universität Berlin.

Based on the results and discussion of the results, various measures aimed at revising the study and examination regulations for the bachelor’s degree programs in question have been mapped out, subject-specific measures have been designed, and interdepartmental actions have been initiated.

An online survey of students in bachelor’s degree programs is taking place during the 2015 summer semester from June 9 through June 30. Important details about the survey and a link to the questionnaire can be found here: www.fu-berlin.de/sites/bachelorbefragung
