More and more, young Europeans are realizing the value of enriching their academic career and personal development by living and studying in a country other than their own. Beyond the chance to advance your studies, you will be meeting new friends and challenges, enhancing your language skills, and getting to know a new culture. Many describe this experience as life changing, providing new insights and preparing students for the demands of the global employment market.

Erasmus+ is one of the most successful trans-European exchange programs. To date, it has assisted more than two million students in organizing their study abroad. To actively engage students and teachers in exchanging ideas across borders is a vital instrument in creating a unified Europe of tomorrow.

Among the many excellent German universities, Freie Universitaet Berlin stands out for the high number of incoming international students it attracts.
