Environmental Policy 

As a PhD student and research assistant Inken Reimer is based at the Environmental Policy Research Centre of the Freie Universität Berlin (FFU). She has also been teaching courses at the FFU on policy analysis, environment policy and in particular climate and energy policy (sometimes also in connection to gender). Besides her reaching commitments, she has engaged in organizing PhD conferences addressing energy and climate questions and has also been involved with the project “Schüleruni” for several years, offering a role play on biodiversity and sustainability. Her PhD, which is to be finished next year, is entitled: “The establishment of REDD+ as a new international climate change mitigation mechanism: Comparing Norway with Canada & Germany as REDD+ donor countries”. Inken has spent time in Norway and Canada during the course of her research.
