The First Egyptian-German Alumni Convention will take place on 21 September in the premisses of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Cairo. It aims to bring together Egyptian Alumni of Freie Universität Berlin with Germans who studied and worked at Freie Universität before starting their career in Egypt. Professor Brigitta Schütt, Vice-President of Freie Universität Berlin will attend the convention and hold a lecture with two of her students from the department of Earth Science on the topic "A history of water supply: Examples from the Near East and along the Nile". After the lecture there will be plenty of time to get in contact with each other around a buffet in the DAAD Garden.
