University Library
With its 2.5 million volumes the University Library serves students and the academic staff of Freie Universität Berlin. It also lends books to students of all Berlin and Brandenburg universities as well to residents of Berlin and Brandenburg.
The University Library houses literature covering all scientific and academic fields with a special emphasis on the humanities and social sciences. Today's collection consists predominantly of interdisciplinary and reference literature as well as electronic resources.
