If you were granted admission for a study placement at our university during either of the last two application processes, but were unable to accept the placement for any of the following reasons:

• due to an obligation of service or volunteer service as described in Section 10 (1) Sentence 1 of the Ordinance on Higher Education Admissions for the State of Berlin (BerlHZVO)
• due to development service as described in Section 10 (1) Sentence 2 BerlHZVO
• due to youth volunteer service as described in Section 10 (1) sentence 3 BerlHZVO
• because you were caring for a child under the age of 18 years or for another family member who requires care for up to three years as described in Section 10 (1) Sentence 4 BerlHZVO

you can request preferential admission for the same study program during the two application periods following the end of the time during which this reason applied.

You may request preferential admission to the same study program when you reapply online. For application, please upload your earlier notice of admission and a certificate of service or proof that you have been caring for a child or other family member.
