In June 2017, the poet Jan Wagner visited Peking University. There on June 14 he was awarded with the university's Zhongkun International Poetry Prize, in a ceremony to which ZDS members contributed in a significant manner – shortly before it became public that Wagner in this year receives the most important German literature prize, the Georg Büchner Prize, too.
