Statutory Foundations of Co-Determination

The federal state law on personnel representation (Landespersonalvertretungsge­setz; "LPersVG") lays down the conditions of co-determination and participation of personnel representatives in the area of IT.  As a basis of co-determination, paragraphs 72, 79, 85 and 90 of the LPersVG are applicable to the installation and operation of data-processing systems at the Free University of Berlin.
