Support Opportunities
By supporting the Deutschlandstipendium, you will be involved in the efforts made by Freie Universität Berlin to support and cultivate next-generation talent, helping to educate committed and dedicated young people. This aid program centers on personal contact with our partners and scholarship recipients. We maintain this contact through selected events.
We want to work with you to support students who, beyond their academic performance, also demonstrate social involvement or who are making outstanding achievements in their studies despite personal challenges. Supporting scholarship recipients from homes where they will be the first to earn a degree and those from immigrant backgrounds is also important to us.
Along with financial support, we also offer a mentoring program that gives scholarship recipients the opportunity to get to know different career paths and develop specific objectives and strategies for their own lives.
Supporting talented young people, strengthening Germany as a location of business and research, investing in our own future or giving back based on the support that you yourself received – there are many good reasons for the Deutschlandstipendium. We are happy to talk with you about the various ways to support students at Freie Universität Berlin.
1. Endow an entire scholarship
A donation of 1,800 euros provides a one-year scholarship for one student. Matching funds are provided out of public resources. Scholarship recipients receive 300 euros a month. They do not have to repay this amount, as it is considered a subsidy or grant to help finance their studies. As a donor, you can choose a discipline and/or social focus.

2. Contribute through crowdfunding
Ernst-Reuter-Gesellschaft
Together with Ernst-Reuter-Gesellschaft e.V., we collect donations for scholarships for students of all departments who demonstrate not only good academic performance, but also social involvement, or who are making outstanding achievements in their studies despite personal challenges. You can donate at least € 50 or a higher amount by making a funds transfer to the account listed below. As soon as donations totaling € 1,800 (the amount needed for a one-year scholarship) have been collected, Ernst-Reuter-Gesellschaft e.V. will award a scholarship on behalf of the donors. The German federal government matches this amount of € 1,800 as part of the Deutschlandstipendiumprogram.

"We value start ups" - Entrepreneurs Network Freie Universität Berlin (NFUSION)
Show your support for budding entrepreneurs. You can donate at least € 150 for a one-month grant or a higher amount by making a funds transfer to the account listed below. As soon as donations totaling € 1,800 (the amount needed for a one-year scholarship) have been collected, NFUSION will award a scholarship on behalf of the donors. The German federal government matches this amount of € 1,800 as part of the Deutschlandstipendium program.
