International Cooperations and Partnerships

Institutes at Freie Universität related to Area Studies maintain numerous cooperations in Germany and world-wide. They continue the tradition of FU which has been benefiting from its numerous international connections to other universities and organizations from the beginning.

Today, FU established an institutional strategy of being an "International Network University". The international relations of FU Area Studies are an important contribution to this institutional strategy.

World-wide networking in the FU Area Studies is supported by the Center for International Cooperation, the International Office and the Liason Offices in Brussels, Cairo, Moscow, New Delhi, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Beijing.
