Hellooo!

I am Julija and I come from Slovenia. After finishing my bachelor in Materials Engineering, I moved to Berlin a year ago to pursue my master studies in Polymer Science at FU - which as a matter of fact is a joint master program, hence I also have classes at Humboldt University, Technical University and Potsdam University.

3 years ago I completed a year of Erasmus+ exchange, thereby I decided to move abroad also for my master studies, as I enjoy meeting new people, discovering new cultures, travelling and being pushed out of my comfort zone. I have discovered this interesting master program and since I have heard so many spellbinding things about Berlin, I have made the decision to give it a try and I can easily say that it was one of the best choices I have ever made. Studying in Berlin has been a great experience so far.

I thoroughly enjoy Berlin and its diversity and how it really offers you a lot, no matter what your hobbies are. Since I was a kid I always had a penchant for sports, especially climbing/bouldering, skiing, hiking and surfing, and I am always willing to try new things. In my spare time I am fond of going to galleries, exhibitions and museums, discovering new bars, restaurants and coffee places (there are plenty of good coffee places for studying too ;-)) and Berlin is perfect for that!  Needless to say, sundays are just made for flea-markets, thrift shopping, brunches and chilling in one of many parks Berlin has to offer (when the weather is actually good)! :-)
