Freie Universität Berlin participates in the admission procedure DoSV with the following courses of study:
Arabistik, Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Bildungs- und Erziehungswissenschaft, Biochemie, Bioinformatik, Biologie, Chemie, Chinastudien, Geographische Wissenschaften, Islamwissenschaft, Informatik, Japanstudien, Koreastudien, Mathematik, Medieninformatik, Pferdewissenschaft, Politikwissenschaft, Psychologie, Rechtswissenschaft, Volkswirtschaftslehre
If you are interested in one of the aforementioned courses of study, you have to start with registration at Hochschulstart. Please use the check list including procedure information provided by hochschulstart.
More than one registration is not permitted. Please note that you can use your user account, that has been created during the registration, also in future procedures. For registration, please enter your personal data. Then you will receive an applicant ID (BID) and a user authentification number (BAN). Both are necessary to fill out the online application on uni-assist (for more information about the application via uni-assist please read Application for the first subject-specific Semester / Studienkolleg).
After making your application you can view the status of your application and university offers in your user account in the application portal of hochschulstart.de. Here you will also find your notice of admission, in case you have accepted an offer, or notice of rejection after the procedure has ended. Please print your notice and pay attention to the information given.
In the scope of the dialogue-oriented admission procedure there are several portals with different logins for registration, application as well as other functions to use. A range of all functions of the portals you will find here „Bewerberportale DoSV" (pdf, only in German).
Those applicants, who have turned 55 before the application deadline, can only be considered in the admission process, if there are - regarding the personal situation - serious scientific or professional reasons for taking up studies. Therefore, the application must include a statement accordingly.
