Checking of "3G" proofs from November 15, 2021.

From now on, "3G proofs" are required upon entry, also when lending and returning media at the circulation desk.

On Monday, November 15, 2021, a "3G" proof (= "geimpft, genesen, getestet") required for access the inner area of the University Library, i.e. also for lending and returning media – proof of full vaccination protection, recovery or a negative test result (not older than 48 hours).

The "3G" proofs are checked at the main entrance (Garystr 39) by the security staff before entering the library. In addition to the documents to be submitted (electronic or printed), please also have a photo ID ready. Checks will take place upon entry only. There will be no record keeping or storage of data. Wearing a FFP2 mask or medical mask is mandatory when entering the library, moving around the building and on all traffic routes. At the workspace, the mask can currently be removed.

When you use a workspace, you are required to register your presence in accordance with the current ordinance of the Berlin Senate. Please scan the QR code attached to the desk with your mobile phone and enter your contact and time details, using the application a.nwesen.de (Notebook users can also access the app by entering the URL manually).

The book drops next to the University Library’s main entrance can be used without a "3G" proof.
