Online events on learning strategies and exam anxiety

In January, the Center for Academic Advising at FU Berlin is offering online events on learning strategies and exam anxiety. Participation is free and possible without registration. Just click on the link to the event.

11.1.2021 from 4.15-5.45 p.m.: Learning techniques and time management (in German)

An academic advisor shows us strategies on how to learn efficiently and introduces some learning techniques. You will also receive tips on learning from three students from higher semesters.

18.1.2021 from 4.15-5.45 p.m.: Dealing with exam anxiety (in German)

A psychologist who will give a lecture on exam anxiety. The lecture will deal with techniques on how to reduce anxiety and nervousness with good exam preparation. Tips are also given on what to do before and during an exam against nervousness.

26.1.2021 and 9.2.2021 from 4.00-6.00 p.m.: Learning in times of digital teaching (in English)

In these online events we talk about strategies for successful learning, especially in times of digital teaching. A psychologist and an academic advisor give tips and present the wiki “Studying 101 - A Simple Guide for Students”. Participants will reflect on their learning strategies so far: What has worked well, what could be better? Building on this, we will discuss strategies to deal with the workload. An important part of these interactive lectures will be the exchange between the participants.
