Opportunity 2: Online peer mentors for international students pursuing Master’s degrees at FU Berlin (interdisciplinary)

International students currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the FU Berlin are invited to apply for this new position as a peer mentor. As a peer mentor, you will offer support to international students, especially as they are starting their master’s degree programs at FU Berlin. Each peer mentor will lead two peer mentoring groups that meet once a month. These meetings will focus on building community for master’s students across disciplines at the FU Berlin and sharing each other’s experiences. The meetings are held in German or English and will take place online so that students who are not yet in Berlin can also take part.

As a peer mentor, you will receive related training and also be supported by the International Student Support Team of the Center for Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling. In addition to the group mentoring sessions, the International Student Support Team will organize topic-specific information events and short workshops based on the needs of the students participating in our mentoring program. Two positions are available and we look forward to your application.
