News from Apr 10, 2018
The Open Science Fellows Program promotes open science and is targeted toward young academics (doctoral students, postdocs and junior professors) from all disciplines who want to make their own research and teaching openly accessible and usable.
During the eight months of the program the fellows receive support through:
- qualification
- mentoring
- networking and visibility
- financial support.
Up to 20 stipends will be awarded in the 2018/2019 program year.
The Open Science Fellows Program is a joint project of Wikimedia Deutschland, the Stifterverband, and the Volkswagen Foundation.
The Center für Digitale Systeme (CeDiS) of Freie Universität Berlin as one of the scientific partners contributes to the training and qualification opportunities offered to the fellows within the program.
