Public Lectures
The Public Lecture Series on sustainability is offered regularly by the Unit for Sustainability and Energy Management. Anyone can participate. Proposals for sustainability-related lectures and series of lectures can be submitted and implemented together with the Sustainable and Energy Management Unit.
The interdisciplinary public lecture series complements the four General Professional Skills Courses modules: Managing Sustainability, Researching Sustainability, Communicating Sustainability, and Shaping Sustainability. The theme of the public lecture series is the basics of sustainable development in the context of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Also discussed is the extent to which the university and science are already living up to their responsibilities as educational actors in the transformational process and the extent to which they shape sustainability discourse in accordance with the SDGs.
Information about current courses and lectures can be found here (only German).
