The area of Educational Research and Social Systems asks how social relationships provoke societal transformational processes. The researchers focus on topics like educational networks, governance strategies, and educational disparities and reforms.
In the General Educational Science working area, the project Sustainability at Universities (HOCHN): developing – networking – reporting looks at how to develop, implement, and perpetuate sustainability processes and principles at universities. Another project develops guidelines for sustainable development education that can be implemented in future curricula.
