The University Alliance for Sustainability is now accepting applications for its range of research and study stays offered at Freie Universität Berlin, as well as at its four partner universities.
Within the alliance framework, Freie Universität and its four partners – Peking University, China; Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel; University of British Columbia, Canada and St. Petersburg State University, Russia – will focus on sustainability as a comprehensive topic for collaborating in research, teaching, and campus management.
The aim is to answer the big questions about sustainability, but also create dialogue about its practical implications within education institutions.
The University Alliance for Sustainability is offering exchange schemes for study and research stays at the four partner universities under the thematic framework of “Governance for Sustainable Development”, to be completed throughout 2016.
The mobility program offers the opportunity of a research stay abroad to academics at all levels, from students to leading scientists, as well as to university administrators, engaging people from across university strata in dialogue about sustainable development.
A Sustainability Volunteer Swap is also offered for exchange between student-led initiatives.
The application deadline for interested participants from Freie Universität is January 18, 2016.
