The German-Russian Week of the Young Researcher is organized once a year in Russia. The first week was held in 2011 at the Kazan Federal State University (of the Wolga Region) on the topic "Men and Energy", the second in 2012 at Yekaterinburg on "Men and Health", and the third in 2013 on "Aviation and Space" in Novosibirsk. The format has been developed during the German-Russian Year of Education, Science, and Innovation as the initiative of DAAD and DFG. Focus of each week are global issues, which are at the same time relevant for international cooperation.
The conference proceedings are available for download, including short summeries of the presentations and some further information about the week. Further information published on the website of DFG (in Russian) and DWIH (in German and Russian).
