As of the fall/winter semester 2010/2011, Freie Universität Berlin has been taking part in the Erasmus Mundus Master'sProgram MULTIELE – "Spanish as a Second Language in Multicultural Contexts,“ along with the Spanish universities Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao, Universidad de Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and nine other universities in and outside of Europe.
Katharina Kräling from the Section of Romance Language Education and Literature at the Institute of Romance Languages and Literatures at Freie Universität Berlin has a MULTIELE grant to visit Moscow State Linguistics University (MSLU) during the second half of March. Her stay in Moscow will serve to further develop the exchange between teachers taking part in the MULTIELE Program and the program itself. The discussion will revolve around organizational and hospitality matters, as well as professional exchange in the field of didactics and teaching Spanish as a second language.
