Maximilian Wagner is a German legal scholar specializing in Constitutional Law, its history and theory. He studied Law at the Johannes Gutenberg Universität (Mainz) and at Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi (Istanbul), and completed his first state examination (Erste Juristische Prüfung) at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Mr. Wagner has worked at the Max-Planck-Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt am Main and taught at several German universities. Currently he teaches introductory courses at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt an der Oder and is completing his doctoral dissertation on legal philosophy and practices in post-war Germany.
