Merle Müller grew up in the south-west of Germany, close to the city of Mannheim. After her Masters in French, Intercultural communications, and German as a Foreign Language at the Saarland University, her passion for foreign languages, cultures and the sun made her move to Istanbul, where she worked for 4 years as a language assistant for the DAAD (German Exchange Council) as well as for the Goethe Institut. After joining a performance group for physical theatre, she decided to come back to Germany to pursue her major passions – theatre and language – in the public school system. To be able to do so, she is about to finish her second Master of Education at the Freie Universität Berlin and the Universität der Künste. Her teachings are rich in interactive and creative methods in order to make people play and act with the language.
