In order to promote the Sino-German academic research and cooperation and exchange in the field of space biomaterials the Sino-German Symposium on Space Biomaterials and Systems Chemistry was held at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province from October 12^th to 16^th 2017. This symposium is co-sponsored by Northwestern Polytechnical University, School of Life Sciences of Northwestern Polytechnical University, Sino-German Joint Laboratory for Space Biomaterials and Translational Technology, Chinesisch-Deutsche Zentrum für Wissenschaftsförderung (CDZ). The professors and researchers from Freie Universitaet Berlin, Charité - Universitaetsmedizin Berlin, Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) take part in this symposium.

促进中德双方空间生物材料学术研究的交流合作,全面展示系统化学领域发展的最新研究成果，由西北工业大学主办，西北工业大学生命学院、中德空间生物材料与技术转化联合实验室、西北工业大学归国学者联谊会、中德科学中心共同承办的“中德空间生物材料与系统化学双边研讨会”将于2017年10月12日-16日在陕西省西安市召开。本次会议邀请了德国柏林自由大学、柏林自由大学夏立特医学院、德国联邦材料研究与测试中心(BAM) 以及中国高等院校、科研院所等单位的知名学者参加，他们就空间生物材料、系统化学等领域面临的挑战以及发展趋势等进行深入交流与探讨。
