The “Partnership for Research in the Mediterranean Area“ (PRIMA) has opened its 2019 calls for proposal. The deadline for submitting (pre-) proposals is the end of February. At the same time, the Annual Work Plan 2019 was published which holds further information on the calls and funded topics.
PRIMA, the “Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area”, is a public-public partnership between 19 EU Member States, Mediterranean countries, partner countries of the Horizon 2020 Research Framework Programme and the European Commission. The aim of the measure is the development of innovative solutions for water and food supply in the Mediterranean. Through competitive calls for proposals, PRIMA promotes research and innovation in this area.
Results for multi-topics in the first PRIMA-calls have already been published and can be looked at here. Further results are expected until the end of this year.
In 2019, PRIMA will support calls for proposals for 12 topics with a budget of approximately 63 million euros. Further information about the Annual Work Plan 2019 and the calls for proposals can be found on the PRIMA website.
