The Institute for East European Studies has released a new image film, which you can watch here (in German).
As an interdisciplinary regional institute at Freie Universität Berlin, the Institute for East European Studies (OEI) was founded in 1951 as one of the first academic institutions for research on Eastern Europe in the Federal Republic of Germany and was intended to develop new perspectives for research on Eastern Europe in view of the changed reality of the Cold War. With the five disciplines represented at the Institute, the international networks and exchange programs as well as the specialist library with one of the most important collections on Eastern Europe in the world, the OEI offers first-class conditions for research and teaching in the attractive location of Berlin.
