The network of liaison offices of FU Berlin (Beijing, Cairo, Moscow, New Delhi, São Paulo) is delighted to invite you to its first edition of its digital talk series!

The first edition of the FU Berlin Liaison office web talk series “At the crossroads of global research” will take place during its international week on Thursday, 17th June 2021 at 3 pm CET. The first edition is dedicated to “Tackling SDG6: Clean water and sanitation” as it will focus on water which is fundamentally regarded as an essential resource as well as a basic human right. Bio-physical environment, society, economy, technology, and, effectively, human rights are inseparable dimensions of water starting at the scale of an individual to the global.

In this first edition, the experts that will be joining us from Brazil, Egypt, Germany and India will be representing the local efforts exerted to reach the different targets of the UN Sustainable Development Goal Number 6 - to secure clean water and sanitation in their regions. After short presentations a panel discussion among the experts will shed further light on best practices and success stories that could possibly also be applied on the other regions but also on possible cross border cooperation opportunities between the different stakeholders of the water sector.

If you are interested to join us on this global journey make sure to register here till the 16th June 2021.

We are looking forward to meeting you online at this enriching discussion!
