On March 16 and 17 2021, the German Centre for Research and Innovation in New Delhi, together with several science and research organizations from India and Germany, will host a digital forum on Cities and Climate.

The two-day interdisciplinary event will offer insights from ongoing research projects and showcase practical initiatives in the field of Cities and Climate. About 35 scientists, analysts, decision-makers, and professionals mainly from India and Germany but also South Asia, Australia, South Africa will present research projects across disciplines. Prof. Uwe Ulbrich, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Geosciences at Freie Universität Berlin, will participate in the session "Climate Science for Cities". 

The forum will feature eight live panel discussions on various topics regarding climate science and cities, a virtual fair with an opportunity to interact with representatives of universities, research institutes, think tanks and funding bodies, and a networking area to connect with researchers from India.
