Only one re-registration reminder will be sent to your FU-/ZEDAT-email account approximately four weeks prior to the re-registration deadline.

Log in to your FU-student account using your username and password.

If you have yet to activate your student account (no university staff accounts), please do so urgently! Please contact the ZEDAT customer service.

You can re-register online by accessing the ZEDAT single sign-on portal.

Here you will also find all information regarding your re-registration fees and contributions payment, as well as any additional requirements.

Please note: When submitting your payment only state the purpose specified to you in your FU-account online re-registration portal. Do not provide any additional information.

Students are required to re-register within the specified re-registration period even if they do not receive our re-registration reminder.

Upon expiration of the re-registration deadline, students are charged a late submission fee, currently € 19.94. For students failing to re-register, the process of de-registration (Exmatrikulation) will be initiated.

Once your payment is received and all other requirements are met your re-registration will be completed.

You will receive your semester documents containing your student ID, study book page, fee receipt and certificate of enrollment by mail. Further certificates of enrollment may be printed online via your FU-student account. Please download the recent certificate of enrollment for your own records. Only current semester certificates are available online.

Your student ID containing your public transport pass (Semesterticket) is prohibited from being laminated and also acts as Freie Universität library card.
