In April 2017, two Germanist guest lectures took place at the German Studies Center (ZDS). Prof. Dr. Matthias Meyer from University of Vienna spoke on 17 April about "Kafka and China", on 19 April the Austrian author and lecturer Dr. Max Höfler followed up with a presentation about "Avantgardistic Approaches in Contemporary German-language Literature".
